Dual study

Study with practical experience at FUHR 

In cooperation with the Bochum University of Applied Sciences Velbert/Heiligenhaus campus, we offer dual study programmes, e.g. in the areas of mechatronics and product development. These programmes give you the chance to gain valuable work experience while completing your Bachelor’s degree. We offer both KIS or KIA study models depending on our current needs.

The KIA model integrates a shortened IHK/HWK training course (a recognised professional qualification) into the study programme. For the KIS study programme, you will be employed at FUHR as a working student, working on three large practical projects that are incorporated into the theoretical study. You receive a training salary/apprenticeship pay for both programmes with the chance to gain exciting, practical experience in a family-owned SME.
