SmartAccess allows you to open your door in a convenient as well as secure way by using your smartphone, without an internet connection or cloud. At the very heart of this innovative access control system stands the SmartAccess Module SAM, a compact bluetooth receiver. SAM is simply plugged into the motor of the FUHR lock, turning it into a smart lock. The system can be expanded in many ways and is easy to use. SmartAccess is also ideal for retrofitting.
SmartAccess App
To operate it all you need to to have is the SmartAccess app, available for free for iOS and Android. Thanks to Bluetooth, there is no need to use any additional WiFi connection or mobile phone coverage. Besides opening the door via app, SmartAccess offers further access possibilities including the standard AutoUnlock function that can individually be activated directly in the app. Auto Unlock opens the door as soon as you approach it. The SmartAccess App is easy to set up and offers many additional functions up to a clear event log.

Initial operation/configuration
Your SmartAccess is ready to use in just a few steps:
- Download the app (iOS or Android)
- Scan the QR code on the security card
- Train the SmartAccess module
- Configure the basic settings in the app
Door modes
When combined with a FUHR motor lock, various DoorModes can be activated via the app depending on the lock type.
Permanent open
- All locking elements and the latch are retracted.
- The door can be freely accessed.
- Available with FUHR multitronic 881 and autotronic 834/836 motor locks.
Day latch
- All locking elements are retracted, only the latch is in operation.
- As a snap-lock solution in comination with mechanical openers or for heavily frequented doors.
- Available with FUHR multitronic 881 motor locks.
Party mode
- Can be used in combination with SmartTouch
- The door is locked. Touching the SmartTouch sensor unlocks the door, even without an authorised smartphone.
- For events, parties or convenient motorised door opening when temporary access restrictions are not necessary.
- Available with FUHR motor locks multitronic 881 and autotronic 834/836.

The door can also be opened at the touch of a button with the bluetooth-controlled SmartAccess Key.

SmartAccess combines two worlds
- The door can be opened either exclusively or additionally using a radio key (SmartAccess Key)

Doors with FUHR locks can be retrofitted to be ‘smart’
- SAM only needs to be plugged into an already installed FUHR autotronic 834/836 or multitronic 881 and opening via smartphone and AutoUnlock is possible

SAM – the multi-talented device
SAM - the SmartAccess Modul - can not only able to open the front door, but can also be used as a universal actuator, e.g. to control garage doors or other doors. This is even possible if the doors are equipped with electric door openers or third-party locks.
With a small stainless steel cover, the module can be easily installed wherever it is needed.
It is equipped with a special connection cable and has a switching output. The duration of the switching signal is adjustable. An input for a potential-free status feedback is also available.

Security
SmartAccess ensures secure doors and controlled access
- SmartAccess combines robust and secure FUHR locking technology with the advantages of smart locks
- The Communication is AES-encrypted
- The latest Bluetooth 5 standard is used
- The app is additionally protected by a password or biometrics
- It is divided into admin and standard users
- As it is an offline system, no data is stored in the cloud; all data is stored solely ‘in the door’
- With the Security Card, only the end user has the data to set up the system
- Convenience features such as AutoUnlock or KeylessGo are purely optional and are configured individually for each user by the admin
- Firmware updates for the SmartAccess module SAM and connected devices are always carried out via the SmartAccess app
Security via Geofence
Geofence-range (green circle)
- When you enter this radius around the SmartAccess Module SAM, your smartphone starts searching for a SmartAccess Module..
- Simultaneously a defined period of time begins during which the door can be opened using AutoUnlock or KeylessGo within the Bluetooth range.
- If the door is not opened via AutoUnlock or KeylessGo during this period, you must leave the geofence area and re-enter it for security reasons in order to use the function. The same applies to reopening the door.
Bluetooth-range(blue circle)
- Within this small radius in the immediate vicinity of the SmartAccess Module SAM, the SAM can communicate with the smartphone via Bluetooth. When you enter this area, a connection is established between the SmartAccess app and the module, and the door can be opened via the app or using AutoUnlock or KeylessGo.
- If AutoUnlock or KeylessGo is not used within the defined period, you must leave the geofence area and re-enter it for the door to open automatically.
- Opening via the SmartAccess app is always possible within the Bluetooth range.
AutoUnlock
Hands full? No problem.
- With AutoUnlock, the motor lock opens as soon as you approach.
- As soon as you enter the Bluetooth range of the SmartAccess module SAM, it communicates with the SmartAccess app and automatically unlocks the door.
- You can simply leave your smartphone in your pocket. All you have to do is push the door open.
KeylessGo
For deliberate door opening
- With KeylessGo, you open the door in a similar way to a car. For this convenient opening, you also need a SmartTouch sensor.
- This is available in various versions and designs: as a handle bar, door fitting or as a discreet sensor surface.
- As soon as you enter the Bluetooth range of the SmartAccess Module SAM, it communicates with the SmartAccess app.
- To unlock the door, simply touch the SmartTouch sensor. You don't even have to take your smartphone out of your pocket.
- This elegantly combines security with convenience.
Easy setup
All settings can be conveniently adjusted via the app. It guides you intuitively through all the necessary and optional steps.
